Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a concentration in hospitality or related field preferred
- At least 4 years experience as a hotel general manager or executive committee member
- At least 7 years experience in a full-service hotel along with specific experience in F&B and/or rooms management positions
- Ability to travel to all NYC independent hotels without notice and as needed
- Ability to travel to Chicago
- New York City union experience
- Experience in critiquing and evaluating hotel financial statements
- Finance and analytics experience is preferred
- Management and customer service experience
- Strong administrative skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead
- Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting
- Strong communications skills
- Marriott experience preferred

Job Duties
- Navigate all brands web sites to understand hotel brand needs
- Understand all brand and non-brand satisfaction tools and direct hotels on how to improve standings
- Review and report on all MCR compliance reports
- Help lead hotel teams in the development and implementation of individual hotel performance strategies
- Strive to continually improve guest and team member satisfaction and maximize financial performance for the hotel
- Achieve budgeted revenues, market share performance growth, monitor and control food, beverage and labor costs and maximize profitability within all areas of the hotel
- Train and on-board existing or newly recruited open leadership positions in the hotel and develop specific processes to ensure overall success
- Prepare or review financial reports and special project analytics
- Maintain proactive communications regarding people or product to senior level management
