Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in fuel quality control or relevant field
  • Proficiency with JetFuel QC, SAIM and EBIS data systems
  • Strong understanding of FAA and aviation safety regulations
  • Ability to travel regionally at least 50% of the time
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be able to lift and move 70lbs repeatedly
  • Pass pre-employment drug test
  • Meet attendance standards

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Competency in maintaining paper records and electronic data systems including JetFuel QC, SAIM and EBIS
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret FAA documentation, business periodicals and technical procedures
  • Strong report writing and business correspondence skills
  • Effective presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of algebra and geometry
  • Problem-solving skills to deal with concrete variables in dynamic situations
  • Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • Valid driver's license and other FAA/airport required identifications
  • Able to lift and move/push 70 lbs repeatedly
  • Pass pre-employment drug test
  • Meet station attendance standards

Job Duties

  • Formulate and maintain quality control objectives and coordinate with general managers, maintenance managers and fuel quality control supervisors
  • Train and direct workers in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and work
  • Conduct audits of both into-plane and fuel facility operations
  • Adhere to ATA 103 and AFQCM standards
  • Ensure all aircraft fueling equipment meets FAA and Menzies standards
  • Plan, promote and organize training activities related to product quality and reliability
  • Investigate customer complaints regarding quality
  • Perform other assigned duties
