Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical field plus 5 years of relevant industry experience or 7 years of relevant experience without formal education
  • Previous active experience in sales, product management, or engineering role in relevant industry
  • Willingness to travel more than 50%
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and execute strategic business plans

Job Duties

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for customer engagement and representative coaching within the region
  • Design, develop, and drive sales strategies that differentiate Endress+Hauser products and solutions for industry-specific applications
  • Strengthen the skills of inside and outside sales representatives on industry processes, systems, and best practices to deliver customer value
  • Identify, qualify, and acquire new project opportunities, maximizing scope and win rate through strategic collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Execute and support sales calls both independently and with representatives to drive business with key accounts and industry influencers
  • Capitalize on MRO, smaller capex, and EPC business with existing and potential end-user accounts, OEMs, plant builders, and systems integrators
  • Lead the local execution of new product launches and coach sales teams on positioning new technologies to prospective customers
  • Collaborate with representative management to define and execute annual regional business plans aligned with national strategies, ensuring effective vertical market coverage
  • Provide market input for short- and long-term planning, including feedback on initiatives, market trends, and competitive activities
  • Contribute to the annual and long-term national and regional industry planning processes to ensure sustained growth and alignment
