Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree
  • five plus years of increasing responsibilities in EHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations
  • five plus years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management
  • availability to travel 50 to 70 percent of the time
  • flexibility to work various shifts
  • ability to lift up to 49 pounds
  • ability to stand or walk for up to 12 hours
  • willingness to work in varied noise levels and environmental conditions
  • willingness to climb and descend stairs frequently
  • obtain adult first aid, CPR, AED certification within three weeks of start date

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree
  • experience in EHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations
  • experience in people and performance management
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to develop and implement department goals and strategies
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • certified safety professional preferred
  • experience with lean principles and process improvement preferred
  • master's degree preferred
  • experience in fast-paced, dynamic organizations preferred

Job Duties

  • lead comprehensive workplace health and safety (WHS) programs
  • partner with operations leadership to integrate safety into business operations
  • conduct risk assessments and site safety audits
  • oversee incident management and investigations
  • manage and develop WHS staff
  • implement safety training and emergency preparedness programs
  • analyze safety data to drive preventive measures and continuous improvement
