Job Requirements
- Must reside in the Central US, preferably in Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City, or St. Louis metro area
- Ability to travel extensively overnight up to 60 percent
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years' relevant sales experience
- Minimum 5 years' managerial experience preferred
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience in Door Hardware, Security or Electronic Access Control industry
- Minimum 5 years in a managerial role overseeing staff
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Strong business acumen and sales closing skills
- Ability to develop and give compelling presentations
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with key vertical markets such as Education, Healthcare, Government, Fortune 500, and Multi-Family
- Knowledge of ASSA ABLOY products and competitive offerings preferred
Job Duties
- Grow ASSA ABLOY brand sales within the Central US region
- Develop and execute aftermarket channel strategy
- Manage relationships with wholesale distributors, industrial wholesalers, security professionals, and systems integrators
- Lead and train a team of Aftermarket Business Development Representatives
- Collaborate with Door Security Solutions sales team and marketing to drive customer demand
- Develop and implement account management plans including product growth and training initiatives
- Travel extensively across the U.S. for business development purposes
