Job Requirements

  • Must reside in the Central US, preferably in Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City, or St. Louis metro area
  • Ability to travel extensively overnight up to 60 percent
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years' relevant sales experience
  • Minimum 5 years' managerial experience preferred
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in Door Hardware, Security or Electronic Access Control industry
  • Minimum 5 years in a managerial role overseeing staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Strong business acumen and sales closing skills
  • Ability to develop and give compelling presentations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with key vertical markets such as Education, Healthcare, Government, Fortune 500, and Multi-Family
  • Knowledge of ASSA ABLOY products and competitive offerings preferred

Job Duties

  • Grow ASSA ABLOY brand sales within the Central US region
  • Develop and execute aftermarket channel strategy
  • Manage relationships with wholesale distributors, industrial wholesalers, security professionals, and systems integrators
  • Lead and train a team of Aftermarket Business Development Representatives
  • Collaborate with Door Security Solutions sales team and marketing to drive customer demand
  • Develop and implement account management plans including product growth and training initiatives
  • Travel extensively across the U.S. for business development purposes
