Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years hotel sales leadership experience
  • Experience managing multiple hotel properties or regions
  • Strong knowledge of California hospitality markets
  • Proven leadership and coaching skills
  • Data analysis and strategic planning abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel regularly to market locations

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, marketing, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years progressive hotel sales leadership experience, preferably multi-property or regional
  • Strong knowledge of California markets and demand drivers
  • Proven track record in coaching and building motivated, results-driven sales teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels
  • Data-driven and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced and growth-oriented environments

Job Duties

  • Lead and mentor Directors of Sales and on-property sales teams
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies tailored to local markets
  • Drive top-line revenue growth across transient, group, and catering segments
  • Build strong relationships with key accounts, brand partners, and community stakeholders
  • Analyze market data, pace reports, and forecasts to inform strategic decisions
  • Partner with revenue management, marketing, and operations to align goals and execution
  • Be present in the market by traveling regularly to properties and key client meetings
