Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hotel administration, business, marketing, finance or relevant field preferred
- minimum 5 years of revenue management experience
- sales experience preferred
- previous director of revenue experience in at least 2 major brands preferred
- strong analytical skills
- extensive knowledge of hotel positioning across multiple markets and brand systems
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- self-driven with attention to detail
- ability to work independently
- ability to lead and develop revenue directors
- ability and willingness to travel up to 50%
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hotel administration, business, marketing, finance or relevant field of work preferred
- a minimum of 5 years of revenue management experience, sales experience preferred
- previous director of revenue experience in at least 2 of the major brands preferred
- strong analytical skills, ability to identify relevant data and use it to draw inferences with reference to impact hotel revenues
- extensive knowledge of hotel positioning across multiple markets, types of hotels and different brand systems
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, command of the written language both written and verbal
- self-driven with a high level of attention to detail and ability to work on own
- ability to lead and/or develop and work alongside directors of revenues with varying levels of experience
- willingness to travel up to 50% of the time across the US
Job Duties
- Leads hotel directors of revenue to ensure RevPAR optimization by analyzing/forecasting demand and establishing effective selling strategies, oversell strategies, and optimal market mix of group, transient and other revenue streams
- works with regional team to ensure hotel teams are set up for success by setting clear strategies and tracking compliance
- participates in weekly hotel strategy meetings to assist in strategy implementation
- assists with owner communications if required
- works with other regional directors of revenue management to implement new company wide initiatives
- provides oversight in hotel budgeting and business planning for the rooms and food and beverage departments
- works with the GM, DORM and DOSM to establish and track performance to key strategic plans
- conducts quarterly reviews and ensures director of revenue daily, weekly and monthly rhythms are adhered to
- performs any other job related duties as assigned
