Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years of multi-unit management experience in a fast-paced retail environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage profit and loss responsibilities
- Experience in leading, training, and developing teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic planning tools
- Ability to collaborate across multiple departments and stakeholders
- Willingness to travel as required
Job Qualifications
- Degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Five plus years in multi-unit management in a high volume, high velocity environment
- Proven ability to drive profitable sales growth
- Discount retail experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
Job Duties
- Directly supervise all District Managers within assigned region
- Validate district managers’ weekly plans to meet business needs
- Ensure high standards of merchandise placement, store signage, inventory mix, and proper display techniques
- Lead and develop strong financial acumen within the team through business reviews and expense containment
- Follow up on communication with Store Support Center and field team in a timely manner
- Maintain a high level of customer service through interaction with District Managers, Store Managers, and customers
- Partner with Zone Vice President and Zone Operations Director on merchandising guidelines and District Manager training
- Communicate and collaborate with Zone Vice President and Field Human Resources regarding training, recruitment, and disciplinary issues
- Recruit and network to ensure the region is properly staffed at all levels
- Work with Real Estate Representative regarding new and expanded store locations
- Strategically plan for regional growth, people development, and staffing needs
- Collaborate with Asset Protection and Risk Management on loss prevention and compliance
- Facilitate training of new Store Managers and ensure stores meet brand standards
- Oversee new store staffing and training processes
- Conduct new Store Manager, hire position Store Manager, and town hall sessions
- Utilize technology tools such as Microsoft Office and company programs for planning and communication
