Job Requirements
- Experience as a cook or in related role
- knowledge of basic food preparation principles and cooking methods
- understanding of food safety handling, sanitation and storage regulations
- ability to obtain food safety certification
- basic math and counting skills
- good interpersonal communication skills
- physical capability for lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

- use utensils and appliances safely including knives, ovens, and mixers
- apply various cooking methods such as baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming
- structure, enhance, and portion cuisine according to regulations
- maintain food quality and safety through proper storage
- ensure a sanitary and germ-free work environment
- deliver excellent customer service with a positive demeanor
- comply with safety protocols emphasizing food safety and sanitation
- maintain safety of organizational resources
