Job Requirements

  • Experience as a cook or in a related role
  • Knowledge of food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
  • Ability to acquire food safety certification
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • Interpersonal communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing for long periods

  • Experience as a cook or in a related role required
  • Validated knowledge of food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
  • Ability to acquire food safety certification
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to meet physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing

Job Duties

  • Follow production instructions and standardized recipes to cook diverse dishes
  • Ready the workstation with required tools and ingredients
  • Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, blending, cutting, trimming, and peeling
  • Safely use various utensils including knives
  • Handle appliances like ovens, cookers, cutting machinery, mixers
  • Use cooking methods such as baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming
  • Structure, enhance, and portion cuisine according to regulations
  • Maintain food quality and safety through proper storage
  • Keep work areas, devices, and utensils sanitary and germ-free
  • Deliver excellent customer service with a cheerful demeanor
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Maintain safety measures for organizational resources
