Job Requirements
- Must be of legal age to sell and or serve alcohol
- degree in business or equivalent
- two years management or supervisory experience
- completion of Regal Responsible Beverage Server training
- food handler card where applicable
- ServSafe Food Manager Certification
- SDS trained
- ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, lifting up to 60 lbs, and climbing or balancing occasionally
- ability to communicate effectively
- must comply with dress code and personal hygiene standards
- availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- completed or in progress management certification program.
Job Qualifications
- Degree in business and or equivalent
- two years management or supervisory experience in restaurant or VIP luxury theatre concept
- experience in high volume hospitality environment
- legally able to sell and serve alcohol
- completion of Regal Responsible Beverage Server training
- good public speaking skills
- effective oral and written communication
- proficiency in math with speed and accuracy
- problem identification and resolution skills
- ability to work independently and under pressure
- experience with PC platforms and basic office programs
- mechanical aptitude for tools and equipment
- strong interpersonal skills
- leadership and team-building abilities
- supervisory experience including hiring, training, scheduling and performance management.
Job Duties
- Regular and consistent attendance
- must be of legal age to sell and or serve alcohol per state and or local laws
- uphold and administer all Regal policies and brand standards as outlined in the Regal Operations Manual and corporate directives
- ensure all cash management policies and procedures are adhered to always
- monitor risk management pertaining to employee and guest safety, loss prevention, proper handling of food and alcohol, emergency situations, and accident reporting
- comply with all food safety rules, laws, protocols, and standards and maintain all health department regulations
- promptly report accidents, incidents, and business interruptions per operating protocols
- hire, train, mentor, supervise, counsel, schedule, and terminate employees
- train staff in positions including server, box office, food runner, and bartender
- ensure required alcohol certification and training are current
- maintain projection and sound technology to ensure impeccable guest experience
- ensure facilities are cleaned and maintained consistent with Regal standards
- supervise kitchen and bar maintenance and sanitation
- schedule and oversee maintenance and repairs on kitchen appliances and theatre facilities
- optimize profits by maintaining strict cost controls
- maintain inventory controls for all supplies
- order supplies based on demand
- control inventory shortages and spoilage
- conduct full inventories
- create staff schedules
- complete daily theatre inspections and kitchen logs
- ensure food and beverages are prepared and served per Regal’s standards
- ensure guest satisfaction and handle guest relations
- count, deposit, and reconcile all business day receipts
- keep updated on recipe changes
- expedite food from kitchen
- collaborate in meal preparation
- properly store food items
- maintain dress code and personal hygiene standards
- handle lost and found items according to policy
- abide by laws regarding breaks and meal periods
- complete management certification program
- obtain necessary food handler cards and certifications
- read and understand training materials
- perform physical tasks related to role.
