Job Requirements
- Must have a TABC certificate and Food Handlers Certification
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to use Point of Sale systems and manage cash processing
- Must be fluent in English
- Availability for flexible scheduling including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to follow food safety regulations
- Must maintain a friendly and professional demeanor
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers
Job Qualifications
- High school education is preferred but not required
- Previous barista or café experience preferred (hospitality or spa environment a plus)
- Familiarity with coffee/espresso equipment and smoothie preparation
- Friendly, professional demeanor and strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
- Proficient in computerized Point of Sale system
- Ability to accurately and securely manage a cash bank
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Ability to learn food and beverage preparation procedures
- Exceptional listening and communication skills
- Availability for a flexible work schedule including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Friendly and professional demeanor with customers and coworkers at all times

Job Duties
- Provides a welcoming greeting to members and guests, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and processing orders and payments
- Prepares foods such as baked goods, bagging, blending smoothies, brewing coffee and tea, preparing made-to-order coffees following recipes, and serving items to customers according to order
- Makes sure to keep consistency with quality and presentation in the drinks made
- Cleans and restocks work and dining areas, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils
- Updates signage and displays
- Takes inventory and replenishes items in display coolers and behind the counter
- Adheres to all food safety regulations and quality controls
- Performs all other duties as assigned
- Performs all duties in a safe manner
