Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in auto body refinishing or prep
- Ability to perform manual tasks including sanding and masking
- Familiarity with automotive paint products and application techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in auto body refinishing or auto body prep
- Knowledge of automotive paints, primers and coatings
- Ability to identify substrates and mix products correctly
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development programs
Job Duties
- Prepare surfaces including sanding, masking, priming and top coating
- Apply primers, sealers, basecoats, color coats and clear coats
- Complete restoration of anti-corrosion treatments
- Identify substrates and mix products for application
- Evaluate bodywork to ensure quality paint job
- Follow insurance guidelines and facility standards for refinishing
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
