Job Requirements
- Must have experience in a refinery plant or chemical plant and truck unloading/loading environment
- ability to perform basic computer, email, and fax functions
- good verbal, written, and oral communication skills
- self-motivated and able to work alone or in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Experience in an oil refinery or chemical plant environment
- knowledge of truck loading/unloading operations
- ability to perform basic computer, email, and fax functions
- good verbal, written, and oral communication skills
- self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
- ability to operate powered lift trucks
- basic math skills for calculating tank levels
- understanding of basic pump operations and troubleshooting
Job Duties
- Monitor tank levels and transfer inventory in/out as needed
- monitor incoming trucks bringing in used motor oil, antifreeze, and oily water
- monitor outgoing trucks taking out asphalt and wastewater
- monitor the loading/unloading operations the entire time the pump is moving product to or from the truck
- drive powered lift trucks and be aware of their load limits
- perform maintenance, housekeeping, or other activities in the warehouse, truck rack, and dock area as directed by supervisor
- train relief personnel on operations as needed
