Job Requirements

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance
Position requires frequent bending, reaching overhead, twisting, and consistent use of hands and arms
Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift in indoor/outdoor environments

Job Qualifications

Minimum 1-year bartending experience
Developed knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer with experience selling and presenting wines
Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management, and co-workers
Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into MICROS
Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor
Ability to work cohesively with co-workers within and outside of your department
Ability to prioritize, organize, and follow up on guest requests and needs in a fast-paced environment
Excellent customer service, service recovery, and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Follow, enforce, comply, and adhere to all Omni rules, policies, procedures, standards and recipes at all times
Properly set-up and maintain a clean efficient bar throughout the shift
Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service
Take orders and answer questions/offer suggestions on both food and beverage menu selections and daily specials
Mix drinks for servers according to standard recipes
Maintain familiarity with the wine list and appropriate stemware and garnishes
Follow procedures outlined in the employee and bartender manuals including jigger pour and making drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros
Ensure consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails
Enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws
Record transactions in MICROS system and adhere to cash handling standards
Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants
Present accurate checks to guests and process payments
Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
Polish and clean water glasses in assigned station before opening hours
Perform station set-up and breakdown and side-work duties
