Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a full service restaurant
- Previous customer service experience required
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
- RBS Alcohol Certification
- ServSafe California Food Handler Certification required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic mathematical skills
- Have good knowledge of computer systems

Job Duties
- Ensure optimal performance in the day-to-day operation
- Assist in training of the staff to the Pacific Palms Resort standards
- Assist in interviewing, recruiting, training, and motivating employees
- Ensure the preparation and service of a consistent product
- Ensure that all employees adhere to proper control procedures and comply with all liquor laws
- Assign service personnel duties
- Ensure cost of product is as low as possible without sacrificing quality
- Establish and maintain cohesive and effective employee relations
- Assist in inspecting, daily set-up, presentation and delivery of amenities
- Handle the execution of hospitality
- Assist in set up of par stocks, ordering, stocking and inventory
- Maintain guest contact, checks on every table, uses the guest name when possible
- Conduct administrative work requirements
- Conduct monthly employee meetings, daily line-ups and any other meetings as necessary
- Perform related duties and special projects
- Understand and be the property expert on Outlet Symphony POS system
- Knowledge of Open Table Reservations System
- Any reasonable request of management
- Assist in any other outlet as needed or requested by management
- Be happy and make eye contact with all of our guests
- Offer the best items not the most expensive items
- Ensure there is nothing more nothing less on tables at all times
- Re-fold or replace the napkin when guests leave their seat
- Record guests notes every shift using Open Table
- Read the table and give guests what they want with finesse and style
- Answer the phone when ringing
- Promote the Chef, GM, special events, hotel and other outlets
- Walk guests to the bathroom instead of pointing
- Step aside, smile, and let guests pass
- Practice excellent customer service
- Adhere to departmental and property standards and procedures
- Work efficiently and effectively as a member of a team
- Communicate and cooperate with property staff
