Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Minimum two years wok cook experience
- Ability to handle high pace production
- Effective time management skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to read Chinese language tickets
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Willingness to work varied schedules
- Ability to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs with or without assistance
- Ability to push 250 lbs on pushcart
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10 degrees
- Ability to bend and reach up to 6 feet
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment
Job Qualifications
- Two years of wok cook experience in the culinary industry
- Ability to work hands-on in high volume kitchen environments
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Effective time management skills with minimal supervision
- Ability to handle constructive criticism and willingness to improve
- Attention to detail for kitchen appearance and standards
- Ability to read all tickets in Chinese
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with guests, team members, and management
- Willingness to work varied schedules
- Minimum age of 18
- Ability to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License
Job Duties
- Practice, support, and promote company-wide service mission and AAA Four Diamond standards
- Prepare food according to daily meal plans and culinary standards including wok cooking and various cooking methods
- Work on all kitchen stations and maintain food preparation levels
- Marinate meats and seafood
- Follow standard operating procedures, recipe books, and guidelines for wok and fry stations
- Prepare and cook food timely according to daily operational needs and chef specifications
- Ensure guest satisfaction through food quality and presentation
