Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Minimum two years wok cook experience
  • Ability to handle high pace production
  • Effective time management skills
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to read Chinese language tickets
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Willingness to work varied schedules
  • Ability to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs with or without assistance
  • Ability to push 250 lbs on pushcart
  • Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10 degrees
  • Ability to bend and reach up to 6 feet
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of wok cook experience in the culinary industry
  • Ability to work hands-on in high volume kitchen environments
  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • Effective time management skills with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle constructive criticism and willingness to improve
  • Attention to detail for kitchen appearance and standards
  • Ability to read all tickets in Chinese
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with guests, team members, and management
  • Willingness to work varied schedules
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Ability to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License

Job Duties

  • Practice, support, and promote company-wide service mission and AAA Four Diamond standards
  • Prepare food according to daily meal plans and culinary standards including wok cooking and various cooking methods
  • Work on all kitchen stations and maintain food preparation levels
  • Marinate meats and seafood
  • Follow standard operating procedures, recipe books, and guidelines for wok and fry stations
  • Prepare and cook food timely according to daily operational needs and chef specifications
  • Ensure guest satisfaction through food quality and presentation
