Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Sales experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
- Willingness to work weekend and evening hours
- Bilingual skills preferred
- Experience with computers including Microsoft Office
- Commitment to Girl Scout principles and membership

- Ability to grasp the organizational landscape, passion for working with Girl Scouts and nonprofit environments, and expertise in communication to engage multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies and understand basic data quality principles
- Willingness to subscribe to the Girl Scout movement principles and maintain membership in Girl Scouts USA
Job Duties
- Assists in achieving the council's strategic goals for girl and adult membership in assigned areas
- Plans and executes a variety of recruitment events including school open houses, lunch/recess events, parent group meetings, community events, educational fairs, library events, and council sponsored events
- Prepares a variety of status reports, including activity, follow-up, and adherence to goals
- Cultivates relationships with appropriate community leaders, organizations, and businesses to support recruitment efforts within targeted areas to positively impact membership growth
- Ensures Girl Scouting is open to all girls and adults by delivering the Girl Scouts message of pluralism and diversity to members of the council
- Follows up on new leads and referrals in a timely fashion
- demonstrates confidence to prepare for conversations and visits with potential members/customers by gathering key information and setting strong objectives to achieve successful outcome
- Understands the sales process and management of leads
