Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality or recreation
- Physical ability to bend, kneel, climb and lift up to 50lbs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of local area attractions
- Ability to adapt to fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently
- Customer service expertise
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of hotel recreation, camp or related hospitality experience
- Capability of bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 50lbs
- Excellent interpersonal skills with guests, associates and the general public
- Knowledge of local area attractions and entertainment
- Ability to learn and adapt in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to interact with a wide range of people
- Extremely customer-service oriented with multi-tasking ability
- Proficient in basic office tasks and computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with inclusive programming preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adjust communication style for different audiences
Job Duties
- Host and participate in all recreation activities including but not limited to outdoor sports games, arts and crafts, line dancing, themed parties, rainy day activities, private parties, group activities and holiday games
- Assure cleanliness and organize all areas within the recreation centers
- Provide enthusiastic customer service including welcoming guests, taking reservations for programs, answering phone calls, providing resort information, making room and credit card charges
- Clean, maintain and repair patio equipment including chairs, umbrellas and tables
- Monitor and address regulations and safety concerns at all recreation centers
- Set up and provide cabana service for guests
- Issue and inventory pool towels
- Work holidays, weekends, day and night shifts as needed
