Job Requirements
- Experience as a chef instructor with a minimum of two years of teaching recreational cooking classes
- valid ServSafe certification or relevant food handler's license
- legal authorization to work in the United States
- enthusiasm for teaching cooking in an in-person setting
- ability to handle ingredient purchasing and venue setup and cleanup
- reliable and professional conduct
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- At least two years of experience teaching recreational cooking classes
- ServSafe certification or relevant food handler's license
- authorized to work in the United States
- passion for sharing culinary knowledge and engaging with learners
- ability to teach international dishes such as pasta, cheese, sushi, ramen, and Spanish cuisine
Job Duties
- Lead and organize hands-on cooking classes
- purchase ingredients and prepare the venue
- provide step-by-step cooking instruction
- engage and support participants throughout the class
- clean and reset the venue after each session
- collaborate with the CocuSocial team to develop recipes and class content
- maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
