Job Requirements

  • minimum 2 years experience teaching cooking classes
  • valid ServSafe certification or food handler's license
  • legal authorization to work in the United States
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible part-time hours
  • hands-on teaching approach with attention to detail
  • reliable and organized in managing class logistics

Job Qualifications

  • at least 2 years experience teaching recreational cooking classes
  • ServSafe certification or relevant food handler's license
  • authorized to work in the United States
  • passion for sharing cooking knowledge in a hands-on environment
  • ability to teach popular international dishes including handmade pasta, dumplings, sushi, cheese making, French macarons, choux pastry, doughnuts, Pad Thai, ramen, Spanish paella, and Spanish tapas

Job Duties

  • organize and lead live in-person recreational cooking and baking classes
  • purchase ingredients required for each class
  • set up the cooking venue prior to class
  • teach dishes step-by-step in a hands-on and engaging manner
  • manage the cleanup and restoration of the venue after classes
  • collaborate with CocuSocial team to develop best-selling classes
  • maintain safety and hygiene standards throughout the class
