Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience in cooking classes
  • valid ServSafe certification or equivalent food handler's license
  • legal authorization to work in the United States
  • willingness to teach in-person at partner venues
  • ability to manage all class logistics including purchasing ingredients and cleanup
  • friendly and engaging demeanor
  • flexible scheduling availability

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience teaching recreational cooking classes
  • ServSafe certification or relevant food handler's license
  • authorized to work in the United States
  • strong passion for cooking and teaching
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to engage and inspire participants
  • comfort teaching popular international dishes such as handmade pasta, dumplings, choux pastry, and more

Job Duties

  • Lead and organize in-person culinary classes
  • purchase ingredients for each class
  • set up teaching space at partner venues
  • teach cooking techniques step-by-step
  • engage participants in hands-on learning
  • manage cleaning and tidying after classes
  • collaborate with CocuSocial team to develop new class ideas
