Job Requirements
- Must maintain a valid driver's license
- Ability to perform physical tasks including stooping, walking, sitting, pulling, grasping, hearing, seeing up close and far away, kneeling, reaching, pushing, talking, standing, finger movement, repetitive motions, and depth perception
- Capable of frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work in a safe and secure environment adhering to all risk and safety conditions
- Ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations if necessary
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of relevant training, education, and experience
- Five years of experience in recreation programming including lead or supervisory roles
- Experience planning and evaluating community programs and events
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Budget development and financial reporting abilities
- Ability to establish and maintain community partnerships
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Plan, organize, and evaluate engaging programs and special events while ensuring compliance with policies and best practices
- Hire, train, schedule, and guide team members to deliver high-quality service
- Oversee daily facility operations, including maintenance, rentals, partnerships, and emergency planning
- Develop and monitor budgets, track revenues and expenses, and maintain accurate records and reports
- Promote programs, build partnerships, represent the facility at meetings, and provide exceptional customer service
