Job Requirements

  • Must maintain a valid driver's license
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including stooping, walking, sitting, pulling, grasping, hearing, seeing up close and far away, kneeling, reaching, pushing, talking, standing, finger movement, repetitive motions, and depth perception
  • Capable of frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work in a safe and secure environment adhering to all risk and safety conditions
  • Ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations if necessary

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of relevant training, education, and experience
  • Five years of experience in recreation programming including lead or supervisory roles
  • Experience planning and evaluating community programs and events
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Budget development and financial reporting abilities
  • Ability to establish and maintain community partnerships
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, and evaluate engaging programs and special events while ensuring compliance with policies and best practices
  • Hire, train, schedule, and guide team members to deliver high-quality service
  • Oversee daily facility operations, including maintenance, rentals, partnerships, and emergency planning
  • Develop and monitor budgets, track revenues and expenses, and maintain accurate records and reports
  • Promote programs, build partnerships, represent the facility at meetings, and provide exceptional customer service
