Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- two years of college coursework or related experience
- must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- must possess a valid Class C California driver’s license
- must maintain a satisfactory driving record
- physical ability to lift 40 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds
- availability to travel between locations during work hours
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- two years of college coursework and experience in developing, organizing, and directing programs
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the public
- ability to set up or take down tables, chairs, and other equipment
- ability to lift 40 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds
- valid Class C California driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
Job Duties
- Assist in the organization, set-up, and clean-up of facilities and fields
- perform field maintenance for artificial turf
- monitor facilities and field reservations including enforcing rules and regulations
- open and close facilities
- maintain cleanliness of facilities
- drive to various field locations
- enforce city policies, procedures, and protocol
- interact with participants and visitors via in person, phone, and email
- report incidents and accidents and complete reports
- address issues and concerns with patrons
- utilize city calendar for reservations and field lighting software
- maintain forms, logs, and reports
- attend meetings and training
- collaborate with other program areas
- perform other duties as directed
