Job Description

Job Requirements
- May be required to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- possess a California Class C driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- able to lift up to 40 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds
- must be available to travel to various city park locations
- part-time at-will employment
- no eligibility for employee benefits
- subject to federal medicare and wage withholding
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- two years of college coursework and experience in developing, organizing and directing programs
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the public
- ability to lift 40 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds
- valid California Class C driver’s license
Job Duties
- Assists in the organization, set-up, and clean-up of facilities and fields
- field maintenance for artificial turf
- monitors facilities and field reservations at various City locations including enforcing field reservations, rules, and regulations
- opens and closes facilities and maintains cleanliness of facilities
- drives to various field locations
- ensures all City policies, procedures, and protocol are enforced
- interacts with participants and visitors in person, phone, and e-mail
