Job Description

Job Requirements

  • May be required to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • possess a California Class C driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • able to lift up to 40 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds
  • must be available to travel to various city park locations
  • part-time at-will employment
  • no eligibility for employee benefits
  • subject to federal medicare and wage withholding

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • two years of college coursework and experience in developing, organizing and directing programs
  • ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the public
  • ability to lift 40 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds
  • valid California Class C driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Assists in the organization, set-up, and clean-up of facilities and fields
  • field maintenance for artificial turf
  • monitors facilities and field reservations at various City locations including enforcing field reservations, rules, and regulations
  • opens and closes facilities and maintains cleanliness of facilities
  • drives to various field locations
  • ensures all City policies, procedures, and protocol are enforced
  • interacts with participants and visitors in person, phone, and e-mail
