Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- relevant experience in recreation services coordination or related field
- ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- proficiency in computer applications related to scheduling and data analysis
- valid driver’s license
Job Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in recreation, parks management, or related field
- experience coordinating community programs
- knowledge of recreation program development and contract administration
- ability to analyze enrollment data and community trends
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in customer service and marketing
- capability to manage budgets and prepare reports
Job Duties
- Plans, coordinates, monitors, and leads community recreation programs
- negotiates and administers partner contracts
- develops program schedules and monitors enrollment trends
- supports marketing and promotional activities
- assists in budget preparation and monitoring
- recruits, trains, and evaluates staff and volunteers
- ensures facility operational readiness and safety
