Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • at least six months experience within the same or similar position
  • prior food and beverage experience in a luxury resort or hotel setting
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work flexible shifts including mornings afternoons weekends and holidays
  • ability to work in outside conditions year-round

  • high school education or equivalent experience
  • at least six months experience within the same or similar position with Four Seasons or other organization
  • hotel or restaurant experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate through knowledge and ability the execution of the service steps including greeting guests taking their order serving of food wine etc during operating hours
  • offer service to all guests in a manner which exceeds expectations
  • understand methods of preparation and presentation of all foods served
  • be vigilantly attentive to service details and product quality
  • collect food from the kitchen when required
  • assist in other food and beverage areas when requested as business volumes require
  • assist the food and beverage manager to develop and maintain a record of all regular guests with their preferences
  • build and maintain rapport with regular guests and cultivate relationships with new patrons
  • effectively handle guest complaints compliments concerns or special requests
  • work together with other staff in all departments and especially the kitchen
