Job Requirements
- must have a current valid class C driver's license from the Texas Department of Public Safety with a satisfactory driving record
- must obtain CPR/first aid certification within 60 days of hire
- pursuing high school diploma, GED or equivalency
- no experience required, preferred some professional work experience in the parks and recreation field or equivalent

Job Duties
- perform indoor, outdoor, arts and crafts, educational, low organized programs and activities for youth 6-17 years of age
- oversee and maintain assigned facility and park
- deal with the general public and maintain safety of members, public and staff
- maintain a high profile in the community
- supervise participants in recreation and education activities
- prepare and organize registrations, supplies and special events
- maintain facilities and monitor park and buildings for safety
