Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in recreation or health club operations or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university
- Ability to supervise and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Capability to perform duties in employees' absence
- Willingness to work full-time onsite at Marriott Marquis Houston
- Eligible to participate in bonus program
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year experience in recreation or health club operations
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Health Education, Physical Education, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- Knowledge of job-relevant products, systems, and processes
- Strong customer service and leadership skills
Job Duties
- Supervises and manages employees
- Supports day-to-day recreation operations
- Monitors quality and standards to meet customer expectations
- Schedules events, programs, and activities
- Orders and manages supplies and equipment
- Manages children’s and group recreational programs
- Oversees pool and beach maintenance and cabana operations
