Job Requirements

  • high school diploma from an accredited school or GED certificate
  • some experience in an organized recreation program or equivalent education, training and experience
  • valid driver's license
  • availability to work nights and weekends
  • effective interpersonal skills
  • ability to maintain discipline and safety at recreation areas
  • physical ability to perform event setup and monitoring duties

  • setting up community events and athletic activities

  • leading and monitoring Kids' Space Playground and Get-A-Way Skatepark
  • maintaining order and discipline among park patrons
  • coordinating logistics for community and sports events
  • ensuring safety protocols are followed during events
  • facilitating engaging and inclusive recreational experiences
