Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- one to two years of experience in customer service role or recreation setting with direct contact with adults and children
- driver’s license valid in the Commonwealth of Virginia

Job Duties
- perform tasks to assist in implementation of recreation programs
- supervise special events, youth and adult sports, before and after school programs, senior programs, spring break camps and summer camps
- ensure safety of all program participants
- apply disciplinary actions per guidelines
- set up and break down equipment for programs
- complete paperwork including incident and accident reports
- attend mandatory trainings
- supervise participants during program activities
- keep utilized areas clean and free of clutter
- assist in other activities or programs within the department
- observe safety and health policies
- perform other assigned duties
