Job Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of two years in an undergraduate degree or graduate level recreation administration, leisure management, or related degree program
  • Must have or be able to obtain first aid and CPR certifications
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record per the city’s drivers use of vehicles for city business policy throughout employment with the city

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Work with the Recreation team in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating recreational-related programs, classes, aquatics, sport leagues, camps, and special events
  • Assist in analyzing recreational-related programming activities for attendance rates, facility trends, and participant surveys
  • Work with the Recreation team in learning the day-to-day operations of running a recreational facility
  • Assist patrons with inquiries regarding recreation classes, leagues, and programs
  • Assist with the execution of department-wide events, which may include event setup and breakdown
