Job Requirements

  • Pass a background check
  • Pass a post-offer physical examination
  • Pass a drug screen
  • Ability to work independently
  • Basic typing skills required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to obtain AED/CPR/First Aid certification

Job Qualifications

  • Equivalent to three years education towards a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in parks and recreation, sports management, physical education, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • One year of recreation program development experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and public interaction skills
  • Basic typing skills
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to obtain AED/CPR/First Aid certification
  • Self-motivated with enthusiasm for new challenges

Job Duties

  • Perform facility oversight and ensure operational compliance
  • Supervise and schedule part-time staff
  • Organize staff trainings
  • Handle cash transactions and daily deposits
  • Ensure compliance with customer service and safety standards
  • Develop and assist with recreational programs, special events, and day camps
  • Process registrations and manage memberships
  • Promote facility sponsorships
  • Assist with event center scheduling and marketing
  • Support payroll and program records management
