Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience working in recreation programs or special events
- Cash handling experience
- Customer service experience
- Valid driver license
- CPR, First Aid, AED certification
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Physical ability to perform moderately heavy labor
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Education in recreation or related field preferred
- Minimum one year experience in recreation programs and special events preferred
- Experience using Sportsman SQL or similar registration management software preferred
- Cash handling experience required
- Customer service experience required
- Valid driver license required
- CPR, First Aid, AED certification required
Job Duties
- Oversees the work of part time employees and volunteers during assigned shifts or tasks
- Assists in developing training materials and provides training for all part time employees
- Prepares monthly schedule for part time employees
- Assists Recreation Coordinator or Recreation Assistant Manager with planning, developing, implementing and evaluating programs
- Helps maintain relationships with program contractors
- Coordinates various programs or special events
- Manages inventory controls and oversees the proper use, safety and security of supplies
- Assists in budgetary process and assumes responsibility for cost control during events, programs, or facilities
- Performs money-handling duties according to city policies
- Enforces facility rules and regulations
- Responds quickly and appropriately to emergencies
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing other related duties as needed
