Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in recreational program coordination, preferably with special populations
- ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- valid Florida driver's license
- part-time availability
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in recreation, leisure services, or related field preferred
- experience working with special populations
- strong organizational and communication skills
- knowledge of adaptive recreation techniques
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- basic computer skills including MS Office
Job Duties
- Coordinate and implement recreational programs for special populations
- develop program schedules and assist in resource allocation
- collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders
- ensure compliance with accessibility standards and safety regulations
- maintain participant records and prepare reports
- support outreach and marketing efforts for programs
- assist in training and supervising volunteers and staff
