Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- CPR and First Aid certification within six months of hire
- Valid Texas driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Pass federal/national criminal background and credit checks
- Physical ability to accomplish job tasks including outdoor work
- Pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and functional assessment
- Ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Obtain Facility Manager Food Handlers certification within six months if assigned to hospitality
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Knowledge of recreational programs, sports, and leisure activities
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Skilled in customer service and public interaction
- Ability to drive a 15 passenger van or bus
- CPR and First Aid certification within six months of hire
- Facility Manager Food Handlers certification for hospitality assignments
Job Duties
- Assist in planning, promotion, development and supervision of recreational programs and activities
- Inform the community of recreational opportunities through advertising and promotions
- Coordinate with city departments, community organizations, vendors and volunteers regarding facility scheduling
- Direct, train, schedule and evaluate part-time, casual and temporary staff
- Provide quality customer service including participant registration and complaint resolution
- Prepare daily financial reports and manage deposits
- Maintain and recommend supply and equipment needs
