Job Duties
- Attends to the daily operation of facilities and programs including opening and closing duties and directs RCA I when necessary
- assists with various recreation programs, hospitality/concessions, leagues and community events
- assists with program registrations, including periods of intensive computer processing with custom registration system
- assists with program and event set up, tear down and implementation including working both inside and outside in various locations and conditions
- provides excellent customer service by responding to customers' questions and needs in a timely manner
- performs and oversees the general maintenance and housekeeping duties in Parks and Recreation Department facilities and/or Grapevine/Colleyville Independent School District facilities
- ensures the safety of all spectators and participants in programs and facilities
- ensures that safety protocols are being adhered to
- completes various reports and submits them to the appropriate supervisor
- performs related duties as directed when such duties are a logical and appropriate assignment to the position
- regular and timely attendance are required for this position
- interacts professionally and respectfully with the public, coworkers, volunteers, customers, vendors and others in the course of daily work
