Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in recreation or a related field
- three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- valid arizona driver license at time of hire
- certification in community infant, child, adult cpr, and first aid within six months of hire
- ability to pass a background check including criminal background, drug screen, fingerprinting, and motor vehicle records check
- capability to work in a high-volume, organized program environment
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- willingness to collaborate with team members and community stakeholders
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in recreation or a related field
- experience in aquatics program management
- certification in community infant, child, adult cpr, and first aid within six months of hire
- strong communication and organizational skills
- ability to train and supervise staff
- knowledge of water safety principles
- commitment to community engagement and customer service
Job Duties
- develop and coordinate swim lesson programs and water safety initiatives
- promote water safety education within the community
- prepare and coordinate master schedules for aquatic programs
- recruit, train, and supervise part-time staff and volunteers
- maintain program budgets and compile reports
- oversee facility operations related to aquatic programs
- ensure quality customer service and program evaluation
