Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare or related field
  • Three years of experience providing direct care to intellectually and/or developmentally disabled individuals
  • Supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership aptitude
  • Valid Florida Driver’s license with good driving record for the last 3 years
  • Knowledge of AHCA regulations is a plus
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and make sound judgments independently under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of experience providing direct care to intellectually and/or developmentally disabled individuals
  • Supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership aptitude

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and make sound judgments under pressure

Job Duties

  • Develop, organize, and lead recreational programs and activities throughout the year
  • Plan and organize special events such as Field Day, Halloween party, and Annual Snow Ball
  • Maintain knowledge of residents' preferences, abilities, and limitations
  • Coordinate and manage budgets and inventories for weekly and monthly activities
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, community outings, and resident participation
  • Provide orientation and training to staff and volunteers
  • Plan and lead community outings, including organizing logistics and occasionally serving as driver
