Job Requirements
- Possess or be in the process of obtaining American Red Cross Lifeguard certification or nationally recognized equivalent
- Possess or be in the process of obtaining American Red Cross CPR-Pro certification or nationally recognized equivalent
- Possess or be in the process of obtaining American Red Cross AED certification or nationally recognized equivalent
- Availability to work seasonal outdoor positions not to exceed September 30, 2026
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to maintain high physical fitness standards
- Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations
Job Qualifications
- American Red Cross Lifeguard certification or nationally recognized equivalent
- American Red Cross CPR-Pro certification or nationally recognized equivalent
- American Red Cross AED certification or nationally recognized equivalent
- Proven ability to perform water rescues and provide first aid
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
- Experience working as a lifeguard preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Monitor pool areas for safety hazards and enforce pool rules
- Perform rescues and provide emergency care including CPR and AED use
- Maintain constant vigilance to prevent accidents
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations
- Communicate with pool patrons to promote safety awareness
- Assist in routine pool maintenance and safety inspections
- Document any incidents or injuries accurately
