Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience in related recreational activity
  • Ability to demonstrate activities and operate facility equipment
  • Knowledge of MCCS policies and procedures
  • Certification in basic first aid and CPR
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and assist with heavier objects
  • Valid drivers license

  • Skill to learn applicable MCCS policies and procedures
  • Ability to qualify in basic first aid and CPR
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and over 45lbs with assistance
  • Valid drivers license

Job Duties

  • Assist in operations of Boathouse, Marina and Marine Rental, Gear Issue, and Vehicle Storage departments
  • Plan, schedule, and publicize various indoor and outdoor recreational activities
  • Perform front desk operations including opening and closing facilities, cashier duties, taking reservations, and verifying patron eligibility
  • Maintain updated informational materials such as flyers and price lists
  • Inspect docks, rental equipment and watercraft for safety and maintenance needs
  • Conduct inventory checks and manage storage, fueling, and cleaning of boats
  • Provide tours and maintain cleanliness and security of Vehicle and RV Storage lots
  • Enforce marina rules and provide instruction on boat and water safety
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and promptly resolve issues
  • Report workplace hazards, injuries, and property damage
  • Adhere to principles of equal employment opportunity and prevention of sexual harassment
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned
