Job Requirements
- Complete a background investigation with favorable results
- meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements

Job Qualifications
- Experience providing basic knowledge and understanding of bowling center operations including rules related to bowling and organizing leagues and tournaments
- knowledge of bowling machinery, equipment, and lane care
- experience in cash handling, including receipt, disbursement, examination, deposits, or other cash processing and use of cash accountability methods
- ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- skill in dealing with the public
- prior experience in basic supply techniques is desirable
- open to all applicants with consideration of preference categories such as military spouse preference and veteran status
- proof of eligibility must be provided by closing date
- knowledge of organizing and promoting recreational activities
- ability to work in a unionized environment
Job Duties
- Assign lanes to be used
- operate control console
- rent shoes
- sell items in the pro shop
- conduct inventories of pro shop items, snack bar resale items, facility equipment and other supply items
- demonstrate and instruct participants on proper use of equipment and bowling techniques
- inform supervisor of equipment malfunctions and items needing maintenance or repair
- supervise, lead, oversee, and/or coordinate daily activities of other employees
- assist in advertising and recruiting participants for leagues, tournaments, special events, and open play activities
- schedule and administer activities as league secretary or tournament director
- ensure activities are properly scheduled, facilities set up, and rules and regulations observed
- open and close the bowling facility as required
- perform other related duties as assigned
