Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work full-time on a temporary basis
  • Availability to work typical weekday office hours with some flexibility for events
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Customer service experience
  • Commitment to creating inclusive and welcoming community environments

  • Experience in event planning, recreation, or community programs preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide on-site support for community events including setup, breakdown, logistics coordination, and crowd management
  • Assist with vendor coordination and community outreach to strengthen partnerships
  • Organize, schedule, and support program and event logistics according to department guidelines
  • Support facility rental management by coordinating schedules, processing payments, and handling documentation
  • Deliver excellent customer service through proactive and timely communication with customers
  • Collaborate with city departments and community members to ensure successful event execution
  • Evaluate and prioritize tasks, projects, and demands efficiently
