Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or G.E.D. required
- two years customer service and/or administrative support experience
- valid driver’s license
- ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification within six months
- ability to lift at least 40 pounds
- successful completion of pre-employment process including reference checks, criminal background check and credit check
- ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
- travel between city facilities
- basic computer literacy
- strong communication skills
Job Qualifications

- ability to operate Microsoft Office products
- effective oral and written communication skills
- ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
- experience dealing effectively with the public
- knowledge of records retention regulations
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain within six months
Job Duties
- Receive and process facility reservations
- maintain schedules for facility usage and recreation activities
- review facility rental contracts and agreements
- provide rental/event quotes and invoices
- collect payments
- serve as primary contact for rental groups for room layouts and setup
- manage the Event Manager System calendar
- provide facility tours
- train new temporary customer service staff
- perform clerical and office support duties
- answer and direct phone calls
- compile reports and maintain records
- receive and direct visitors
- inspect data and input into databases
- draft routine correspondence and documents
- operate office equipment and software
- collect and reconcile fees and prepare deposits
- purchase office and program supplies
- maintain public records in compliance with Washington State guidelines
- follow city policies and safety requirements
- perform other assigned duties
