Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • willingness and ability to work in an assisted living environment
  • basic clerical skills including typing and filing
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to handle multiple interruptions
  • basic knowledge of bookkeeping
  • ability to lift between 1-20 pounds occasionally
  • ability to sit for extended periods
  • good visual acuity and hearing
  • exceptional conflict resolution skills
  • ability to function as a team member

Job Qualifications

  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • basic clerical skills including typing and filing
  • experience in customer service or assisted living environment preferred
  • ability to multitask in a busy work environment
  • proficiency in basic bookkeeping tasks
  • strong interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Provide information and referral to residents, visitors, staff, and prospective clients in a positive, service-oriented manner
  • possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • perform basic clerical tasks including typing, filing, and light bookkeeping
  • handle multiple interruptions while maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor
  • work effectively with elderly residents
  • ensure coverage of front desk duties
  • maintain accurate records and logs
