- previous experience in homecare, human services, or nonprofit settings
- front desk experience
- experience working with individuals with disabilities
Job Duties
- Answer and route incoming phone calls to appropriate staff
- greet and assist visitors and consumers entering the agency
- provide support to visitors as needed
- serve as the main point of contact for vendors and the public
- coordinate and schedule meeting room reservations
- receive and distribute mail and packages
- perform general clerical duties such as filing, typing, mailings, and other administrative tasks as assigned
- maintain confidentiality and adhere to agency policies and procedures
- present a professional demeanor consistent with VFI's Mission, Core Values, and Independent Living Philosophy
