Job Duties

  • Staffing the lobby BKFJC reception desk
  • Greets clients and assesses their destination within the center
  • Works collaboratively with BKFJC frontline and administrative staff
  • Enters client names into the BKFJC database and issues appropriate visitor stickers
  • Notifies frontline staff of client and guest arrivals
  • Utilizes language line services to assist with communication
  • Alerts frontline staff when clients require escorting upstairs
  • Communicates with administrative staff regarding clients' health or substance-related issues
  • Identifies situations requiring supervisor intervention such as clients expressing suicidal or homicidal ideations
  • Assists in identifying appropriate clients for BKFJC services
  • Collaborates with KCDA reception staff to facilitate client access
  • Maintains confidentiality at all times
  • Performs additional duties as assigned
