Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Experience in assisted living or residential healthcare environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to remain calm during emergencies
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Interest in older adult care

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Knowledge of assisted living and residential healthcare
  • Experience in concierge customer service preferred
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
  • Pleasant personality and telephone voice
  • Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
  • Complete confidentiality with resident information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Interest in working with older adults

Job Duties

  • Answer all telephone calls as quickly as possible in a polite, personal, and friendly manner
  • Transfer calls appropriately to other department areas
  • Monitor emergency system and direct staff to emergent situations
  • Call emergency personnel as appropriate
  • Assist visitors and direct them to appropriate individuals
  • Ensure all visitors and contractors sign in and wear appropriate badges
  • Keep reception desk and lobby clean and organized after each shift
  • Facilitate resident transportation requests and maintain transportation calendar
  • Communicate transportation updates to drivers and staff
  • Assist residents in signing up for outside events, programs, and activities
  • Collect fees or updates for activities
  • Monitor and assist with office equipment and supplies
  • Monitor incoming packages and inform residents and departments
  • Input maintenance requests into Worxhup system
  • Maintain guest and transportation calendars
  • Complete monthly ancillary charge sheets and invoice submissions
  • Support other departments with clerical duties as assigned
  • Maintain employee lunch ticket and cash
  • Assist with collecting monthly rent checks and statements
