Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • knowledge of assisted living and residential healthcare
  • ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite
  • friendly and professional telephone manner
  • ability to remain calm under emergency situations
  • genuine interest in working with older adults

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • knowledge of assisted living and residential healthcare environments
  • experience in concierge customer service is helpful
  • highly organized and detail-oriented
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written in English
  • pleasant telephone voice and professional demeanor
  • ability to remain calm during emergency situations
  • commitment to maintaining confidentiality of resident information
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • interest in and desire to work with older adults

Job Duties

  • Answer all telephone calls as quickly as possible in a polite, personal, and friendly manner
  • transfer calls appropriately to other department areas
  • monitor emergency system and direct staff to emergent situations
  • call emergency personnel as appropriate
  • conduct wellness checks as needed
  • assist visitors and ensure proper sign-in and badge wearing
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of reception desk and lobby
  • facilitate resident transportation requests and maintain transportation calendar
  • communicate transportation updates to drivers and staff
  • assist residents with signing up for events and activities
  • collect fees and manage updates to activities
  • assist staff with office equipment and monitor supplies
  • monitor incoming packages and notify residents and departments
  • input data for maintenance requests into Worxhup system
  • maintain guest and transportation calendars and census reports
  • communicate urgent needs to leadership or relevant staff
  • complete monthly ancillary charge sheets and submit invoices
  • support business office with clerical duties
  • manage employee lunch tickets and cash
  • assist with rent check collection and statements as per established process
