Job Requirements
- the ability to project a positive public image in person and over the phone
- the ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and in writing
- the ability to proofread and edit
- excellent writing skills preferred
- demonstrates exceptional customer service skills
- high school diploma
- 2-3 years of customer service experience
- 2-3 years of general clerical experience
- keyboarding at 50 w.p.m.
- proven ability to utilize computer hardware and software including Microsoft Windows software such as Excel and Word, including advanced merging and mailings from a spreadsheet
- willingness to learn how to work in the communication and visit system used by the Office of Admission
- proven organizational skills, the ability to multitask and attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma
- 2-3 years of customer service experience
- 2-3 years of general clerical experience
- keyboarding at 50 w.p.m.
- proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word including advanced mail merges
- effective communication skills in person, phone, and writing
- excellent proofreading and editing skills

- willingness to learn new communication and visit management systems

Job Duties
- greet and welcome campus visitors and prospective students
- answer and route phone calls and emails to appropriate staff
- prepare the admission presentation space daily
- manage and coordinate daily schedules for campus visits
- assist with scheduling tours, events, and meetings with faculty and coaching staff
- prepare registration materials and visit packages for on-campus events
- track RSVPs and send reminder emails for admissions events
- communicate with high school contacts about counselor travel
- train student and regular employees on desk operations and customer service
- provide clerical and financial administrative support as backup
